We got married at Union+Social in October, 2025 and are SO PLEASED. From the amazing attention to detail, wonderful staff and… Truly the best wedding food I have ever had. Alyssa (Event Manager) is so sweet, she helped us think through everything, and answered all the questions we had. She even went out of her way to help us secure ice cream for the venue! We loved our time are so glad we chose Union+ Social. Our guests were all very pleased as well, we got so many compliments, especially on the food. As a bride and groom, we also got to do a tasting, privately in the venue with all the attention from Chef George, who is top tier. DO yourself a favor, and book with Union+Social for a seamless and beautiful night.

I would highly recommend this venue. We used the space for a wedding rehearsal dinner followed by a Welcome Party. The events manager and owner were extremely helpful in getting everything ready for our events. The staff were very friendly and on top of what needed to be done. The space is beautiful. It was a wonderful celebration.

My husband and I had our wedding at Union & Social and it was great, originally we had Kyleigh as our venue coordinator and she was not very quick to respond to our questions and concerns but then Rosa became our coordinator and she was great at answering all our questions and managing our concerns. The venue is large and can fit up A LOT of people, but was good for our 100 guest wedding. The food, bar, bathrooms, bridal suite, staff, and coordination was great. The PRETZELS, the Charcuterie display, coffee bar, and SMORES experience were a TOTAL HIT!! Most complimented things about our wedding! very small quip I had: - was very confused on who I asked questions to the day of the wedding as Rosa was helping serve our guests food so I had to hunt her down a few times but the staff helped accommodate all our needs.

Union & Social Event Venue did an exceptional job hosting the evening activity for our Michigan District Teachers Conference (125 guests). Kyleigh was awesome to work with and very accommodating with the different requests and last minute changes that we asked to make. It is such a warm and welcoming space. The food and drink were top notch - love the Harbor Burger (which pairs nicely with the Das Gute Zeug Oktoberfest Beer)! I heard nothing but compliments from all of our guests and would highly recommend this venue to groups of all kinds. Thank you for your efforts in making this a memorable experience for our teachers!

Union + Social Event Venue did a fantastic job with our prom. Everything was beautiful and we didn’t have to do anything but take what decorations we wanted to keep. I highly recommend talking with Alyssa and getting booked.

Do you allow outside catering?

Our in house Chef and culinary team handcraft your menu right here at the venue. We also welcome select specialty items from licensed vendors in accordance with health code and food safety guidelines. Have something creative in mind? Let’s talk. We love a fun idea too!

Do you allow dogs?

We'd be happy to welcome your pup as part of your special day. 🐾 We do allow dogs at the venue as long as they are well-trained and have a dedicated handler responsible for them throughout the entire event. This ensures your furry friend is well cared for while you can relax and enjoy your day. If you're planning to include your dog in the ceremony or photos, just let us know! We'd love to help make sure everything goes smoothly.

Do you offer an all-inclusive package?

Yes! Our standard package at Union + Social is designed to be completely turnkey. We handle almost everything so you can focus on celebrating. What we include: Full setup and teardown of the space. Custom food and beverage options tailored to your event. Tables, chairs, and standard venue amenities. What you bring: Florals and decor, DJ or entertainment, Photographer, A day-of coordinator (optional, but you are welcome to bring one if you'd like!) Essentially, you bring the talent and the personal touches, and we've got the rest!

When is the final payment due?

Final 2nd Payment is Due 90 Days Prior to the Event. Final Payment is due 14 days prior to the event. Any hosted bar costs or day-of Event Order (EO) changes are settled onsite the day of the event.

Yes, Union + Social is fully temperature-controlled year-round for maximum comfort.
